Agricola

Agricola is the stone-cold classic game of building and running a thriving farm while making sure to feed your family. Players start with two family members living in a small two-room wooden house. Each round, every family member may take one action, such as collecting wood and reed to extend the house or plowing fields and planting seeds to grow food. Expanding your family allows more actions, but also increases the food you must produce.

Players harvest crops, raise animals in fenced pastures, and improve their homes from wooden rooms to clay and stone. Occupation and Improvement cards give small advantages, helping with food production, comfort, and family growth. Each game uses a different selection of 48 Occupation cards and 58 Improvements, ensuring no two games are ever the same.

It's a deeply strategic game of careful planning, balancing food requirements, and growing your farm over multiple rounds to earn the most points.
